10:10 Books & Coffee opens in Stokesdale

10:10 Books & Coffee, a ministry-based coffee shop, opened earlier this month in the spot formerly occupied by Stokey’s Pizza in downtown Stokesdale.

Customers are encouraged to relax in the homelike, Christian atmosphere, gather with friends, read from the selection of King James Bibles and used Christian books, and access the Internet via free Wi-Fi.

Local artists are invited to sign up for acoustic live mic nights on Tuesdays, beginning in September. Bible studies and other events are planned for the future.
