Vikings power past HPC

The third quarter made all the difference for Northwest Guilford's boys basketball team.

After trailing by two points at the break, the Vikings (15-5, 6-3 Piedmont Triad Conference) outscored High Point Central 21-8 en route to a 71-49 win.

Nick Powell and Cody Hylton led Northwest with 19 and 18 points respectively, while Colson Everett chipped in with 11 additional points for the Vikings. Hampton Billips pulled down 12 rebounds for the Vikings while Kevin Parrish and Jaylen Gore both dished out five assists each.
