The Guilford County Sheriff's Office has a suspect in a rash of vehicle fires in Stokesdale.
The Sheriff's Office is currently attempting to locate a white female between ages 30 and 40 with shoulder length, wavy brown hair and blonde highlights. She is of medium height and build, and was seen driving a dark colored four-door sedan.
On Jan. 9 at 1:23 am, the front cabin of a 2007 Kenworth tractor-trailer was found burning at 8905 Ellisboro Road in Stokesdale. The truck was unoccupied and had been parked at this lot overnight.
On Jan. 11 between 1 and 2 a.m., a 1995 Ford Van was set on fire while in the parking lot of Countryside Village Retirement Community at 7700 US Highway 158 in Stokesdale.
The Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information about either of these cases to contact Detective N.E. Triche at the District 1 Office in Summerfield at 641-2307 or Crimestoppers at (336) 373-1000.
Crimestoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
